Desteny did a GREAR JOB at my nail removal!!! initially i had gel-tip with diamonds, as u can see in pic 3. It took her about an hour to remove all of these. She soaked the nails because i wanted to keep my natural nail length, then filed them lightly.

Overall i'm really happy with the results!!! my nail surfaces are smooth and the hard gel was removed completely. the owner, Michelle, was welcoming and very nice to me.

They charged me $45. I don't know the usual price for a nail removal because this is the first time I have done it in the States, but I think the pricing is fair because Desteny clearly took her time carefully removing each one. The Shaping could've been a little bit better but i was getting impatient so it's not her fault. i'm well satisfied in general!

I chose a shellac manicure with some glitter. Michelle was great in explaining the process. She was very skilled and it was really quick. Desteny did a great job with the shellac pedicure! Michelle included a hydration treatment for my hands - wonderful pampering. Try Pewter for nails!

I started going to Michelle at Pewter when I moved to Reno in 2016. She has always taken the time to leave my nails looking absolutely perfect. It was so nice going to her being new to town as she was basically a personal guide and friend for the community. She takes the time to teach about how to keep my nails looking great and healthy between appointments. When I brought in my niece she made her so excited with a design of her own even on her tiny nails. I hope to go back in to see her soon!

I have been a client of Michelle since June 2019 and enjoy every service. From a solid color set to nail art I've desired, I leave happy each time and I always get compliments. I've also learned so much about nail health as she also takes the time to educate you. Her emphasis and concern for healthy nails has benefited my nails so much! I can't imagine going anywhere else and  I can't thank Michelle enough!

The ambience of Pewter is wonderful. From the music to the interior and decor, I love it all. In addition, Pewter takes the required guidelines for Covid-19 very seriously, so I know I'm safe and in good hands when getting my service done. Pewter has always emphasized  cleanliness, sanitation, and health, so the fact that it's been ramped up due to Covid-19 is beyond comforting! Thanks for thinking about everyone's health!

Friendly staff, super clean space (above and beyond covid standard). I'm not sure but I felt like the woman who did my Shellac mani & pedi was new because my services took super long, but thankfully I had all the time in the world and enjoyed the very quiet and pleasant space.

With that being said my nails are flawless! I can tell Sarah is a perfectionist and it will take some time for her to pick up the speed, but I absolutely LOVE how they came out! Thank you Sarah & Michelle (owner) for all of the super helpful and useful education! I left knowing a lot more than I knew before! I also purchased their Winter Warmth foot scrub. It smells amazing.

Next time I'm booking the "platinum package" because I know they're going to pamper this mama!
